Who we are

ColorChallenge (color-challenge.com) is run by Toby Greenhouse, an independent publisher of coloring books.

Health and wellbeing disclaimer

Our coloring challenges and coloring books are designed for relaxation and creative enjoyment. They are not a medical product and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace professional advice for any physical or mental health condition. If you are experiencing stress, anxiety, or any health concern, please consult a qualified professional.

Information we collect

ColorChallenge does not ask you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address or other personal details.

Saved challenges: when you save a challenge, it is stored only in your own browser (local storage). It is never sent to us. You can remove it at any time from your saved list or by clearing your browser data.

Shared challenges: when you share a challenge, the link only contains the name of that challenge, so anyone with the link can open it.

Hosting: the site is hosted by Netlify, which may process technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the website securely. See Netlify's privacy policy.

Fonts: the site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. See Google's privacy policy.

Country lookup: to show the cookie banner only where it's needed and to send you to the right Amazon store (amazon.co.uk in the UK, amazon.com elsewhere), the site asks the service ipapi.co which country your connection comes from. To answer, ipapi.co receives your IP address. We only use the country code and do not store it. See ipapi.co's privacy policy.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it (for example, which pages are viewed, which challenges are generated, saved or shared, and which book links are clicked). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects anonymized usage data. Advertising features are switched off.

Visitors outside the United States are asked for consent first. Google Analytics does not load, and no analytics cookies are set, unless you choose Accept. If you choose Decline, nothing is tracked, and any analytics cookies already set are deleted. Your choice is saved on your device. Visitors in the United States are not shown the banner, and analytics runs by default.

Google Analytics sets these cookies, and only these:

Your cookie choice and your saved challenges are kept in your browser's local storage, so we don't ask you again on every visit. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. If you email us, we use your email address only to reply to you.
