About ColorChallenge

Hi, I'm Toby, and I make bold and easy coloring books: mandalas, geometric patterns, flowers, animals, food, kawaii and spooky Halloween pages.

I've always preferred big, simple shapes over tiny details. When your mind is busy, filling one large shape at a time slows you down in a way a page full of little details never does. That idea runs through all my books, with thick outlines, large print and plenty of room to color.

Why ColorChallenge?

Even with a book you love, the hardest part of a coloring session is often deciding where to start. Most of us reach for the same favorite colors every time, and our pages start to look alike.

ColorChallenge gives you a small creative nudge: a palette you wouldn't have picked, a technique to try, or a gentle rule to follow. There are 1,500 challenges across seven categories, for 2 to 7 colors, and every tip is based on simple color theory, so the results look good, not just different.

How to use it

Pick a category and how many colors you want, get a challenge, and try it on any coloring page you own. Save the ones you like, or share them with a friend. Each challenge also suggests one of my books that suits it, in case you'd like a fresh page to try it on.
